515 Career Push Talent Competition

This competition is for bands and artists that need to give their career a PUSH in the right direction. If you have a great sound and believe that you or your band are the next big thing but don't have the funds to record a great project, press it and send it out to the labels, then this competition is custom made for you.



Prizes include:

• EP produced by studio 515 recorded at their world class facilities in Nashville. You can coproduce or place the reigns in their staff's capable hands. They have worked with everyone from Waylon Jennings to Dizzy Gilespie, to the Spears family. This includes 2 days of instrumental tracking, 2 days of vocals, 1 day of overdubs and 5 days of mixing! If you are a band you can record the tracks yourself, or if you are an artist they will provide studio musicians for you. And don't worry, just because 515 is in Nashville does not limit them to country music.
  
  
  
  
• Mastering of your EP by industry leader, Jim Falzone of Venus Mastering.
  
  
  
  
• Graphic design of your CD and CD Packaging.
  
  
  
  
• 1000 CDs/Packages pressed by DiscMakers.

• Accommodation aid - 515 will help you find some really great rates on accommodations through their network of contacts in town.
  
  
  
  
• A live gig at one of Nashville's hottest live venues - booked by 515 while you’re in town.
  
  
  
  
• 2-Hour consultation with celebrity stylist/image consultant, Jess Matthews.
  
  
  
  
• 1 Hour vocal/live show coaching with Nashville renound coach and "The Cheese String Incident", hit songwriter, Randi Michaels.
  
  
  
  
• One Year FREE membership to the Nashville Songwriters Association International (a $150 value).
  
  
  
  
• A sit down meeting with TKG Management/Venus Management that books tons of shows in Vegas.

515 is pooling all of their resources to make this happen. They are looking for one act that will blow them away. All genres are accepted as their contacts run deep in New York and Los Angeles as well as Nashville.



Judges/reviewing panel:

• Chip Hardy - Former VP A&R MCA records, former VP of Evergreen Publishing. Hit songwriter and hit producer. Credits include: Waylon Jennings, Reba, George Strait, etc.
  
  
  
  
• Tim Grogan - Pro Drummer/Producer. Credits include: Dizzy Gillespie, Aaron Tippin, Jeffrey Steele, Bebe Winans, etc.
  
  
  
  
• Rodney Lewis - Pro Bass Player/Studio Owner/Hit songwriter. Credits Include: Dale Watson, Gary Allen, Chris Cummings, etc.
  
  
  
  
• Jimi Heath/Whitelaw: Studio Owner, Songwriter Adovcate, artist management and publishing. Credits include: David Foster, Carole Bayer-Sager, Michael Laskow, aides in the careers of Joshua Adams, Mickey Kelley, Benjamin Olson. Has placed 1000's of songs in film and television and secured deals for artists. Credits include: EMI, Big Loud Shirt, Cherry Lane, Skyline and Stage Three publishing.
  
  
  
  
• Bobby Holland: Engineer/Producer (Specializing in indie rock bands) Credits include: Disaster Snake, Ethan Swim, Telecommunicators, Rae Herring, Aaron Tippin, Jeffrey Steele, etc.

Please note: Once your project is completed, you will own ALL MASTERS. 515 does this as a benefit to the winner and asks for no ownership whatsoever in final product.
