Summary
FreelyFest is a laid back, eclectic live music event located in Southern Ohio. This year the festival will be held on Saturday June 13th at the Ross County Fairgrounds in Chillicothe, which is located only 45 minutes south of Columbus and 60 minutes east of Dayton, OH.
Last year, in only the events fourth year, it attracted nearly 1,800 people who camped and enjoyed 12 bands perform from noon straight through to the next morning. FreelyFest is the only event of its kind in the area, and is sponsored by Budweiser, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Herrnstein Hyundai.
Last years festival played host to performers in all kinds of genres including rock, pop, singer-songwriter, country, blues, metal, jam band, hip-hop and bluegrass. 1-2 slots will be reserved for Sonicbids artists. Bands selected will be given a 45-minute slot and will be compensated for their performance based on stature and draw in the area. Food, drink, camping area are also provided.
FreelyFest is a Forty Four Productions event, which is promoted via radio, print, and direct mail. Come play in what has been described as the "Bonaroo of Southern Ohio" by 96.7 FM in Jackson, OH and "Southern Ohio's Very Own Woodstock" by the Chillicothe Gazette!
