AFC Radio Featured Artist Contest (Spring 2009)

AFC Radio is a project of the Artistic Freedom Collective, a group of international artist who support and promote each other and includes members from throughout the world. More information is available at AFCollective.com.



This contest will close April 15, 2009 for the first round of competition. First round finalists will go to a jury and the final winner and runner ups will be informed by April 25th, 2009. All genres are accepted for consideration but mostly seeking singer/songwriter, folk, blues, country, jazz and acoustic artists.



Winner will receive:

• "Artist of the month" Status for MAY on AFCollective.com
  
  
• A dedicated 40 minute program which will include biographical info, music play and discussion of the artist's original music (played a minimum of 4 times during the month)
  
  
• Guaranteed play on all live and pre-taped broadcasts throughout the month of May
  
  
• A professionally created banner ad that will be hosted on the AFC site for the month of May and is theirs to keep
  
  
• A full year of free website hosting on the AFC's server (hosting will include access to site studio, which includes easy to use website templates or a professional website can be designed for an additional fee)
  
  
• AFC Membership with free artist page and streaming mp3 hosting on the AFC Website (the artist will be responsible for setting up his or her own page)

• Songs from the top 5 runner up submissions will make up a special episode of "Dol on the Dial" (AFC radio program) that will play once during the month of May
