1 spot has been reserved for Sonicbids performers; (though they've taken more than one in the past if the artist was right for the event). Compensation consists of a small stipend to cover travel expenses. For this reason, they only accept regional Texas acts) and most performers usually provide their talent and time for free for the cause. Food and accommodation for the night is available and further arrangements can be made depending upon donations. They provide a top of the line professional sound, lighting, video and production equipment and team which kindly donates their time and efforts as alumni to help us make this The Best Relay For Life Production.

Taking place at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX, Aggie Relay For Life is now its 6th year. In the event's first year, it was named Rookie Event of The Year for raising the most funds, bringing in the most amount of teams and participants and setting the bar high in games, entertainment and involvement of the community in the event. In the past 5 years they've earned greater recognition such as Top Online Fundraising Event and Top Collegiate Relay For Life Event in the East Texas Region as well as a 5 Star Relay For Life Event continuing to better the event and the five areas of performance.

Aggie Relay For Life is also different in that it is run by Texas A&M students for Texas A&M students, community, families, faculty and staff. The event pulls in well over 5,000 students and up to 10,000 participants with heavy promotion throughout campus all year long. The 12-hour overnight event features musical performances non-stop all night to keep participants awake, hyped up and entertained for the entire event. Event starts at 7pm on Friday April 1st and goes until 7am Saturday April 2nd so playing a late spot is not bad as the crowd arrives early and stays late. The event is held on campus at the Penberthy Athletic Fields at Texas A&M University.

Previous performers have included The 71's, JB Barnett, Strawberry Jam, Charlie Gore, Preston Leatherman, Tim Halperin, The Tastydactyls, The Wes Hanna Band + many more. Most genres accepted, pop, rock, acoustic and country are preferred but if your music works for this type of event, they will consider it. Language and content must be family-friendly.
