Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to the Relay For Life. The Relay at Texas A&M received a Rookie Event of the Year by the American Cancer Society, after their initial fundraiser. Now, in its fifth year, at least one Sonicbids artist is guaranteed to perform for over 5,000 students, staff, faculty and community members, with close to 100 survivors and nearly 1,000 luminarias. Now, in its fifth year, at least one Sonicbids artist is guaranteed to perform for over 5,000 students, staff, faculty and community members, with close to 100 survivors and nearly 1,000 luminarias.

They are looking for artists in a wide variety of genres to perform at the event. Artists will receive complimentary travel, food, lodging and possible radio interview and acoustic set at KANM Student Radio. The selected may receive local media attention as well.

A&M boasts over 150 teams raising more than $100,000 annually. They are consistently the top college fundraiser in the East Texas Region of the American Cancer Society and awarded the Best of the Best National Collegiate Award for being an outstanding student relay the last two years in a row.

Aggie Relay For Life is a 12-hour overnight event going from Friday April 9th, 2010 at 7pm until Saturday April 10th, 2010 at 7am. As Texas A&M expands and tries to raise the bar for this year's Relay For Life, they are seeking out to other musicians that have been affected by cancer in one way or another or simply devoted to helping the cause and wanting to play the event for the cause.
