AIR Annual Compilation, Vol 8: 2006

You're invited to be part of an exciting, one of a kind annual project dedicated to the promotion of new independent Australian music within Australia and internationally. Produced by AIR, The Association of Independent Record Labels, this is a yearlong project, which will see your music distributed to hundreds of key music industry tastemakers around the globe.



AIR Annual Compilation Vol 8. 2006 will showcases a diverse range of independent music released by Australian artists, on Australian labels. We put it together, add flavour, then plant it amongst national music business and media tastemakers, and take it to the world at music trade fairs and events.



We're now calling for AIR members to send us their finest new releases across all genres for inclusion in the 2006 collection, which will be launched at MIDEM: International Music Market, next January in Cannes, France, with additional national and international distribution to follow. In total, 5000+ discs will be distributed and promoted in 2006 to the national industry and international at trade fairs, giving you valuable yearlong exposure. You'll also be assisting AIR promote Australia's thriving independent music industry.



All genres are encouraged to submit. Artists may submit up to five songs. Selected artists are required to pay a further AU$330 (inc GST), to assist in the production of the compilation.
