AIR Annual Compilation Vol 9

You’re invited to be part of an exciting, one of a kind annual project dedicated to the promotion of new independent Australian music within Australia and internationally. Produced by AIR, The Australian Independent Record Labels Association, this is a year long project, which will see your music distributed to hundreds of key music industry tastemakers around the globe.



AIR Annual Compilation Vol 9 2007 will showcase a diverse range of independent music released by Australian artists, on Australian labels. We search the nation for the best new Australian music, creating a fantastic package that is distributed to national music business and media tastemakers, as well as globally to key industry executives, and at music trade fairs and events.



YOU MUST BE AN AIR MEMBER TO TAKE PART!



We’re now calling for AIR members to send us their finest new releases across all genres for inclusion in the 2007 collection, which will be launched at MIDEM: International Music Market, in Cannes, France in January 07, with additional national and international distribution to follow.



You’ll also be supporting AIR promote Australia’s thriving independent music industry around the globe.



This year we’re putting together a collection of discs highlighting various genres, so we can target your music even more effectively to the right contacts. We’ll be putting together 5 genres specific discs (Rock, Pop, Roots & Country, Jazz & World, and Electronica / Hip Hop). In total, 5000+ discs will be distributed and promoted in 2007 to the national industry and at international at trade fairs, giving you valuable year long exposure.



Please note: Successful applicants will be invoiced $330 to cover the costs of production. This is non-funded, non-government project.
