AIRPlay

AIRPlay is a new online initiative that combines two of the world’s most powerful online communities to create a totally new way for fans and industry to connect with Australian artists. This is your opportunity to be promoted to key executives in the global music industry!



AIR (The Australian Independent Record Labels Association) has introduced the first ever ‘digital AIR Play compilation,’ which takes a two level approach to profiling new independent Australian music. The first part involves promotion to industry executives (labels, publishers, festivals, managers, sync companies, etc.) via a new email platform, while part two gets your music out to the fans via MySpace.com.



Successful applicants will be solicited to AIR’s global network using a new email platform, which features all of the important information that the people in their network need to connect with you. You will also have the opportunity to gain new fans when one of your tracks is featured in an exclusive AIRPlay album listening party, to be advertised on the MySpace.com music home page. Furthermore, selected artists will be featured at www.air.org.au/ozindies and become a MySpace.com featured artist for one week!



Each of the six editions produced during the course of the year will also be promoted by AIR to delegates at key music events, where they will be handing out cards that direct people to this fantastic compilation.



You just have to be an AIR member to take part, and be independent and able to show that you are export ready.
