Every Sunday, RadioRockCafe will give approximately 2 hours of excellent indie music. Selected artists will have an entire album put into airplay rotation (or multiple albums if you have more than one). RadioRockCafe is focused on genres like rock, blues, metal and punk. Other genres like hip-hop, rap, country, dance, folk, etc. cannot be considered.

Selected artists will be on air and also be part of the special request playlist. Every half hour the station (top and bottom of the hour) broadcasts 2 songs at random from the indie listing giving the indies even more exposure. The station also hosts interviews through Skype with bands when featuring full album presentations. And, as soon as your music is in their library, it becomes available for your fans to request and hear. No voting and no request emails. While there is not formal compensation RadioRockCafe are members of, and report airplay to, SOCAN (the Canadian performing rights organization for royalty distribution similar to ASCAP and BMI).

For over 3 years now, RadioRockCafe has been devoted to bringing indie music to more and more listeners using the internet. 50% of its programming is based on independent music. They have over 6000 indie songs in their playlist. Since January 2009, RadioRockCafe got over 20 million hits on their website. They have also created a new website for 2010 in order to offer more exposure to bands, combining ideas from MySpace, Youtube and Facebook. Anyone can join the site for free.
