AJ's Bar and Grill is the quintessence of a gay and lesbian neighborhood bar, even if it's not exactly in a neighborhood per se. The staff (it's named for owners Annie and Janie) is friendly and easygoing, the crowd a mix of women and men (mostly gay but plenty of heteros pop in here from time to time), especially when there's karaoke.
