They are seeking submissions for reviews and features in the magazine.



Alarm’s circulation is in the tens of thousands making it available at the following places: Barnes & Noble, Books-A-Million, Borders Bookstores, Gallery Of Sound, Hastings, Hot Topic, Media Play, Newbury Comics, Rich's Cigar Store, Sam Goody, Tower Records, Virgin Megastores as well as fine independents across the globe.




Alarm's pages are filled with an eclectic range of musicians (Brooklyn Rappers, Polish Folk bands, Japanese pop singers, Chinese punk bands), visual artists (California graffiti artists, train-hopping hobo craftsmen, Hopi katsina artists), and underground fashion, books, toys and electronic media. Alarm's readers are as diverse as its editorial; from college students, urban hipsters, new and seasoned artists alike, indie record label owners, CEOs, museum curators and on and on. Alarm’s aggressive music editorial department listens to all submissions.

Please note: to be reviewed, artist must have a release within the past 6 months. Additionally, artists who provide a 3-month lead time will be given priority.
