Summary

Frosh Week is coming up at Algoma University as is a brand-new school year. At The Speak Easy bar and performing arts venue, we've hosted a wide array of entertainment including rock bands, acoustic artists, magicians, illusionists, comedians, hypnotists, and much more. The venue has featured such bands as the Bedouin Soundclash, The Trews, Planet Smashers, High Holy Days, Pat Robitaille, and more. We are currently seeking a variety of musicians and performers for the 2006-2007 school year.



Our large venue features a 200 square foot stage complete with full sound and lighting systems. Production wise, we have a 20 channel, 3 way Bag End sound system (Tops—2 way passive box with 12” horn, plus Double 18” sub), 2 floor monitors, and 2 side fills that are approximately 3500 watts. This is definitely modifiable depending on the act that is coming in.



Compensation will be provided and is negotiable.
