Summary
Algonquin College, located in Ottawa, ON is seeking musical and comedy acts for the Fall 2007 semester. The Algonquin College Students' Association provides a variety of events for students of Algonquin such as Carnival Day, Orientation Concert, various gig ticket concerts, Yuk Yuks comedy nights, Karaoke nights, informational and entertaining Guest Speakers, battle of the bands and much more!
This college is currently booking for September-December, 2007, but will consider some acts for Spring 2008 as well. 10-15 shows are presented each semester on campus, primarily taking place Monday-Friday at The Observatory Lounge. All genres are welcome to apply. Local acts will be considered for opening spots with larger artists and scheduled events as well as individual shows. Regional and touring acts may be considered as well.
Artists will be compensated for their performances with an amount determined by the event. Comedians are encouraged to submit as well.
