Ali Bubba's at The Midland Hilton

Promising Projects together with Ali Bubba's, a rooftop music venue within The Midland Hilton, is actively seeking musicians and performing artists for immediate openings for Monday nights. Music should begin promptly at 5:01 to attract the downtown community. Priority will be given to original artists.


Promising Productions strives to transform venues into live music destinations of choice and provide an avenue for “up and coming” musicians with remarkable talent. They seek to harmonize the musician with the venue to provide an experience that will make listening audiences return and impact a positive contribution to the fan base of the performing artist. They tend to focus on venues that are unusual and possess a certain untapped charm that make them hard to put your finger on.


There are 4 slots available each month with 1 reserved for Sonicbids artists. Ali Bubba’s has a capacity of 200-300, and a local draw is not necessary to be booked.



Artists are expected to supply their own sound. A sound guy may be available, with notice.



Selected artists will be compensated for their performances and may include lodging.
