Summary

The Allbiz Label Music Showcase is an event that allows original bands in every music genre to perform in front of major music industry representatives and also attend seminars to learn valuable information on the music industry. The registration fee for the showcase is $300. The registration fee includes all-access passes to the event, allowing each band member complete access to all seminars and all performances. Additionally, 30 admission tickets (face value $10 each) will be given free to every band, so band members can sell them to fans to subsidize your registration cost. Bands will also receive digital photos of your performance, shot by a professional photographer.



The Allbiz Major Label Music Showcase will be held July 13-15 in Columbus, OH, and will include performances, networking opportunities, and seminars on the music business. The Allbiz Showcase has 40 bands performing – with 5 slots reserved for Sonicbids artists. Performances will be held nightly.



The performance segment consists of each registered band being allotted a 30 minute time slot to set up, perform 3 songs and then meet with music label reps to discuss their performance and answer any questions the artists may have regarding their performance. For the artist's convenience, Allbiz, in association with the venue and our sponsors, will provide a backdrop of equipment, including a basic drum kit, cabinets and a sound system. The bands need only bring their instruments for their performance. Each artist is allowed to bring any other equipment as desired.



Allbiz Entertainment Group, Inc., the premier artist management and promotions company in Columbus, OH, has secured the following people, among others, to sit on the panel and the seminars during the event:

David Wilkes - VP of A&R for Koch Records

Sean Roberts - A&R consultant to TVT Records

Eric Speck - A&R Manager, Island Records

Lee Bass - Entertainment lawyer

The Showcase seminars will cover the state of the music business with topics including point of entry, artist management, legal issues, independent vs. major labels, and more.

All genres accepted.
