Summary
The 4th Annual Allbiz Label Music Showcase is an event allowing original bands in every genre of music to perform in front of major music industry representatives as well as attend seminars to learn valuable information on the music industry. Networking & marketing opportunities are also key parts of the event. This year's event will be held August 14th-16th, 2008 in Columbus, OH and will include:
5 showcase slots are reserved exclusively for Sonicbids artists.
The registration fee for each showcase slot is $300 per band. The registration fee includes all-access passes to the event for each band member (allowing complete access to all seminars and all performances), as well as 30 admission tickets (face value $10 each), which will be given to every band to sell. In essence, if you sell all 30 tickets at face value, you will recoup your entire registration cost through the sale of these tickets. Additionally, every band that performs will receive digital photos of your performance, shot by a professional photographer.
The performance segment consists of each registered band being allotted a 30 minute time slot to set up, perform 3 songs and then meet with music label reps who will discuss their performance and answer any questions the artists may have.
For the artist's convenience, Allbiz, in partnership with Guitar Center, provides the following backline: Standard 5 piece drum kit with single kick, Marshall guitar head and cabinet, Ampeg bass head and cabinet, Fender guitar amp, complete sound system, and professional sound crew. Artists will need to provide their own vital accessories such as instrument cords, effect pedals, etc. Drummers: Please bring your own cymbals, high hats and drum keys!
