Allbiz Entertainment Label Music Showcase-October 2007

The Allbiz Label Music Showcase is an event that allows original bands to perform in front of major music industry representatives as well as attend seminars to learn valuable information on the music industry. Networking & marketing opportunities are also key parts of the event. The next showcase will take place at CBR’s in the Brewery District of Columbus, OH from October 11-13, 2007.



50 artists total will be taking the stage throughout the three day conference. 5 showcase slots are reserved exclusively for Sonicbids artists. Rock and pop bands are encouraged to submit.



The registration fee for each showcase slot is $300 per band ($250 for previously performing artists). The registration fee includes all-access passes to the event for each band member (allowing complete access to all seminars and all performances), as well as 30 admission tickets (face value $10 each), which will be given to every band to sell. In essence, if you sell all 30 tickets at face value, you will recoup your entire registration cost through the sale of these tickets. Additionally, every band that performs will receive digital photos of your performance, shot by a professional photographer.



The performance segment consists of each registered band being allotted a 30 minute time slot to set up, perform 3 songs and then meet with music label reps who will discuss their performance and answer any questions the artists may have. Reps will be attending from various labels, including Island Records, Columbia Records, Stone Room Records, and others. Also, various local venue owners will be there scouting for new artists for bookings.



For the artist's convenience, Allbiz, in association with our music store sponsors, provide a backdrop of equipment, including a standard drum kit, guitar and base cabinets and heads, and a sound system. They have a professional sound crew on staff. Artists need only bring their instruments for their performance, but they strongly suggest that all artists bring vital accessories, like instrument cords, effect pedals, etc. just in case! Note to drummers: Please bring your own cymbals, high hats and drum keys!
