The 11th annual Americana Music Festival & Conference will be held September 8th through 11th, 2010 at the Sheraton Nashville Downtown Hotel in Nashville, TN. This year's event is expected to bring over 1000 executives, professionals and artists together from all over the world.



The Americana Music Festival will feature approximately 100 showcase or performance slots for both established and emerging artists, performing in both daytime slots and off-site evening showcases.



There are six slots reserved for Sonicbids artists, two of which will be artists who submit by January 31. Selected artists get a small honorarium, ONE full conference registration and showcase wristbands (access to music venues only) for the remaining band members.



The Americana Music Conference features numerous panels, seminars, a trade show and much more. This special event covers the interests and needs of artists, managers, labels, radio stations, publishers, agents, promoters, retailers, performing rights organizations, legal and business affairs, tour-related services, merchandisers, new media, and all related allied professionals.



Genres accepted include Americana, roots, alternative country, folk, bluegrass and blues. Submissions will be reviewed on an ongoing basis, and all artists will be notified of their selection status no later than July 9, 2010.



The 2009 Music Festival featured many established and developing acts, covering a broad range of styles, including: Antje Duvekot, Asleep at the Wheel, Baskery, The Bottle Rockets, Buddy Miller, Chuck Mead, Cross Canadian Ragweed, DADDY, Elizabeth Cook, The Greencards, JD Souther, Kara Grainger, Mary Gauthier, Nanci Griffith, Otis Gibbs, Radney Foster, Sam Bush, Sara Watkins, Seth Walker, The Tejas Brothers, Tim Easton, W.P.A., Webb Wilder, Will Hoge, Yarn and more.
