The winner in each genre will receive an offer for a publishing contract, and 1 winner will be chosen from each genre to compete for a $50 cash prize./n/nAmericas Best Songs is a new songwriting contest looking for fresh new songs to be published and pitched to artists, TV and film. Founded by veteran Christian songwriter James Eric Myers this is a global song contest for everyone.
Songwriters may submit unlimited entries and all entries will be judged by a panel of music industry professionals, including members of the Gospel Music Association, ASCAP and BMI. The judges will give each song a rating between one and 10 for each of the following criteria: originality, melody, composition and lyrics.
The winner in each genre will receive an offer for a publishing contract, and one winner will be chosen from each genre to compete for song of the month and will receive $50 cash.
