Andy's - Chestertown, MD

Andy’s has been offering delectable and eclectic live music in Chestertown, Maryland for over 20 years in their relaxed, smoke-free setting that they offer to all of their patrons. The average age of the local regulars is between 25 and 40. Andy's books mostly bluegrass, new grass, old time, blues & Celtic with occasional Americana, pop, rock, reggae.



Friday and Saturday nights feature live music, along with an occasional Thursday night performance. Live music is featured in between 9 – 12 pm during these days. Compensation is varied and is negotiated during the booking process. All performing artists get a compensated meal. A local draw isn’t necessarily required, but it influences compensation since a percentage of the door is included, as the room can hold up to 100 people. Artists are usually booked 3 months in advance of the scheduled performance.



A full PA system with lights is available to all performing artists along with an in-house technician. All future performances are advertised on the venue website, and they will take any promotional material from artists to distribute in-house a week before their performance.
