Summary

St. Andrew's Society of Detroit is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving Scottish culture. Its Highland Games attracts 10,000 guests annually, and is held at the Historic Greenmead Park in Livonia, Michigan. It is seeking 3 high energy Celtic rock groups to perform live on the main stage and a bag piper is preferred for each group. The festival will be held on Friday August 5, 2011 to Saturday, August 6, 2011. Highland Games is presented by St. Andrew’s Society of Detroit, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the Celtic heritage through education, musical presentations, and traditional competitions in athletics, piping and dance. The 162nd Annual Highland Games is a celebration of Scottish culture and heritage.



Past performers include Battlefield Band, Brother, Glengarry Bhoys, Bad Haggis, Tartanic, NeedFire, Barleyjuice and The Kreellers.
