Summary

Another Music Fest (AMF) is a new music festival created by the City of McAllen, Texas and the McAllen Chamber of Commerce in an effort to provide live entertainment to the city. AMF will be an annual event for the city in coming years.



McAllen is situated on the U.S./Mexico border and this event will bring guests from Mexico as well as the U.S. The event will be located in the McAllen entertainment district, comprised of a number of venues. Total capacity ranges from 150 to 600 as well as an outdoor stage which can accommodate 800 people.



All music genres are encouraged to participate in this event. A monetary compensation will be provided for event headliners and accommodations provided by the McAllen Chamber of Commerce.



2 days: April 18-19, 2009 with 30 artists in roughly over 10 venues. Limited budget, so only headliners will be compensated. Regional and national artists encouraged to submit.
