Don't miss your LAST CHANCE to submit to perform at ANTI*POP Music Festival, showcasing the best emerging talent the nation has to offer. Last year's festival had over 10,000 attendees. Compensation is provided, and at least 6 slots will be reserved for Sonicbids artists./n/nNow in its fifth year, ANTI*POP Music Festival is a four night event, held November 11 - 14, 2009 in Orlando, FL. ANTI*POP showcases the best emerging talent the nation has to offer. Last year's festival had over 10,000 attendees.



Over 150 bands will take over downtown and midtown Orlando on 2 outdoor stages and 12 venues for the event, which will include a diverse lineup of national and regional acts. This year's lineup include Minus The Bear, Ky-Mani Marley, Yacht, MC Chris and Big D & The Kids Table with more to be announced.



There are many slots available with at least six slots for Sonicbids artists.



The festival will present edgy acts that are breaking into the mainstream through new methods of marketing, forward thinking, and strong DIY principals. Showcasing bands will have the opportunity to perform alongside some of the leading bands in indie and underground music plus rub elbows with leading industry professionals and tastemakers.



ANTI*POP alumni include Spoon, Conor Oberst, Mute Math, The National, She Wants Revenge, Aesop Rock, The Bravery, Bob Mould, Atmosphere, Lou Barlow, Hank Williams III, We Are Scientists, The Stills, Trail of Dead, The Tennessee Three, John Vanderslice, Blood Brothers, Kasabian, Saul Williams, The Aquabats, Whole Wheat Bread, P.O.S., etc.



The festival strives to be the perfect mix of underground excitement and mainstream appeal. All genres of music will be accepted and considered, as long as its good. The emerging sounds showcased will include rock, indie, punk, acoustic, underground hip-hop, electro, hardcore and more.
