  • Coffeehouse performances- Coffee House Committee brings in acts such as poetry, art, A.C.T. and talent shows. Each semester, 3-4 acts perform in the Moose Café on campus, which has a capacity of roughly 100. Local and touring soloists who will be in the area are preferred, including acoustic, singer/songwriter, indie, pop, and other coffeehouse style artists.

  • General music performances- Music Committee looks to bring in local bands, up and coming bands and cultural music. 3-4 duos/bands are selected to perform at Aquinas for general concerts each semester. A wide variety of genres are booked, spanning rock, reggae, country, contemporary Christian, blues and beyond. Local and touring acts who will be in the area are preferred. Acts will generally perform in the Moose Café. A larger auditorium is available for larger acts if necessary.

A PA system is available, including a limited number of DI boxes and mics. Artists will be compensated for their performances with a negotiable flat fee, meal, accommodations for out of area acts, and occasionally travel for touring acts. Artists who are members of NACA are preferred for blocked booking.
