Summary

ARBOR LIVE! is an updated twist on the classic concert series from the past, blending the best aspects of Don Kishner's "Rock Concert", "Later" with Jools Holland, Herbie Hancock's "Rockschool" and "Austin City Limits" to deliver a fresh new take on the musical performance show for the current year.

ARBOR LIVE! airs 13 episodes per year on Canadian TV network APTN and is syndicated throughout Canada. For its second season, ArborTV will be shooting in London, Berlin, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto & Winnipeg.

ARBOR LIVE! will pay up to $3,000 in travel expenses per selected band, and at least 2 Sonicbids artists will be selected to perform alongside giants in the music industry. Performances can happen in studio or at festivals/venues in front of a live audience.

ARBOR LIVE! will feature legendary musicians as well as today's hottest emerging artists from across ALL GENRES.

Season One is already airing and features performances from Velvet Revolver, Stray Cats, Joe Satriani, Motley Crue, Buck Cherry and Sixx AM, along with comedy skits & interviews with Matt Sorum, Tommy Lee, and many more. Emerging artists showcased on Season One include Floor Thirteen, Domenica, Tracy Bone, Kinnie Starr, and George Leach to name just a few.

Arbor TV gives these emerging artists the chance to join host Stevie Salas (named one of the "Top 50 Guitarists Of All Time), director Steelbird, and assistant Eric Schweig (Last of the Mohicans, The Missing, Squanto: A Warrior's Tale) on set with live performances, no holds barred interviews and zany comedy skits.

Taking a page from some of the world's most popular music festivals like Redding and the Fuji Rock Fest, ARBOR LIVE! will showcase modern rock bands like Foo Fighters on the same episode as traditional acts like Claude McKenzie, hip-hop artists Team Rezofficial and metal renegades Dreadnaut. What this means is that ArborTV is not afraid to mix styles/genres and will consider any artist. Quality of music is the most important thing.
