Art & Soul Oakland Festival - Blues Stage

The Comcast Art & Soul Festival, in Oakland, CA, will be held Labor Day Weekend 2009. There will be live rock, blues, Latin, jazz, gospel and more on five concert stages. There is one blues stage booked by Bay Area Blues Society, and the other stages are booked by various Oakland organizations. Compensation, lodging and transportation is provided according to local, regional, and national experience.



This will be the eighth year for the festival which features national and local acts blended with culturally diverse art, dance, music and food. Last year, over 90,000 attended this festival. Oakland’s Own Expo showcases dozens of local food & wine producers with free tasting and cooking demonstrations. This is one of Northern California's most accessible festivals with direct transit access and free parking for thousands of cars.
