At least fifteen Sonicbids artists are guaranteed to be featured during the showcase and those who are not selected will receive either a discount code for $35 off conference registration fees, or access to a password-protected area of the conference website with video footage of the “I Need Management” panel sessions taking place that Friday. /n/nThe Artist Management Conference, located at the InterContinental New York Times Square in New York City, will offer attendees educational panel sessions, presentations, networking opportunities, artist showcases and much more. At least fifteen Sonicbids artists are guaranteed to be featured during the showcase and those who are not selected will receive either a discount code for $35 off conference registration fees, or access to a password-protected area of the conference website with video footage of the “I Need Management” panel sessions taking place that Friday.

For the evening showcases, spread out over four venues on each night, they are looking to book a total of 30 - 40 bands. Artists from a wide variety of genres are encouraged to submit.

Submission Procedures and Showcase Details:


  • Through Sonicbids is the only way a band can submit

  • Bands must be seeking management representation (i.e., bands should not submit for a showcase if they already have a manager)

  • If selected, each member of the band will receive a complimentary Full Conference Registration badge ($450 value), plus $75 for performance

  • A meal and drink ticket will be provided for each band member at the performance venue

  • The size of the band performing must be limited to 4 (i.e. prepare to ‘strip down’ the size of group to no more than 4, or to share the performance fees for 4 among the extra musicians)

  • Bands must rehearse and put together a 25-minute set (consisting of however many songs bands can fit into that time frame)

  • Equipment backline, to be shared by all bands on the bill and consisting of a drum kit, bass and guitar amps, keyboard (if requested), and microphones (in addition to a sound guy), will be provided by us. Artists will be responsible for bringing their drum accessories, individual guitar and bass instruments, and any other instruments/props that you require for their show

  • Any video footage of a performance will be provided for use in EPK or on website.


During the daytimes (Thursday and Friday), AMCON will feature educational panel sessions, illuminating keynote presentations, stimulating networking breaks, and enlightening mentor sessions. During the evenings, (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) they will present several artist showcases, networking receptions and parties for conference registrants to attend.

NOTE: Selected bands are responsible for their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
