Summary
Art on Track is a fine arts, performance, and sonic arts exhibition on the CTA (8-car train) on August 30th from 6pm-10pm. This event is in the running for the Guinness World Record for the Largest Mobile Exhibition and has the potential to reach upwards of 200,000 people.
The live performances on the train/platforms must be acoustic or quietly amplified as the CTA must approve all performances. There will also be an exhibition extension at The Joynt from 11pm until 3am, where there will be more live performances.
They are now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for music to be played during the non-performance portions of the schedule and during the exhibition extension. All artists will be noted during the event, as well as on the website. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a record-breaking artistic event.
