Showcase Eligibility: (All performing artists in all genres are encouraged to apply for the 2011 Arts Northwest Juried Showcase, Oct 17-20, 2011 in Eugene, Oregon, USA. Exceptions include performing artists who were selected for the juried showcases at the NW Booking Conferences in Bellevue, WA in 2010 or Boise, ID in 2009)

  • Those submitting must be a member in good standing of Arts Northwest to apply to showcase at the Arts Northwest Booking Conference. (An agency's membership covers the artists on their roster). Membership can be paid at the time of application if the submitter is not a current member.

  • Each applicant is assessed on artistic merit, originality, fee schedule, residency activities, availability for touring and diversity in terms of the need to showcase high quality artists from a variety of disciplines. The jury is mindful of the need to expose new artists to northwest presenters. To this end, an artist who has never showcased is likely to receive priority over an equally talented artist who showcased previously.

  • Artists must be available to perform in Eugene, Oregon between the dates of Oct 17 – 20, 2011 on either October 17, 18 or 19, 2011. Rehearsal times may be scheduled on Oct 17, 18 or 19, 2011.

  • If selected, the artists or the artist's representative must purchase a booth at the Northwest Booking conference and staff it during all exhibit hall hours.

  • Submitting must include a non-refundable Juried Showcase application fee of $80 with each application.

  • If an artist is selected, he or she must pay an additional showcase performance fee of $100.00 (The application fee will not be applied to this amount.) This fee will be non-refundable once paid.

  • The artist is responsible for all related costs for conference attendance including travel, food, accommodations, as well as conference registration and booth fees for any representative (s). Arts Northwest assumes responsibility for direct performance costs including technical needs, (limitations will apply), marketing and promotion.

  • The artist is responsible for providing written information for the conference program.

  • The artist must be available for touring in 2012-2013

  • If selected to showcase, by confirming and paying the $100 confirmation fee, the artist are also committing to pay for a Conference Exhibit Hall Booth that will require the presence of the artist or a representative throughout the event.
