PLAY: Thursday night event at Bread Coffeehouse (GA)
Posted by: Bread Coffeehouse | When: – | Where: Atlanta, Georgia, USA
Summary
Bread Coffeehouse is a free coffeehouse and campus ministry for Emory students. Every Thursday night we have an event called DBS where we serve a free dinner, have live music (non-religious), and a staff member does story-telling. While we are a campus ministry, this is not a super religious event, other than the stories which are always personal and not meant to be preachy in any way. We try to be a place where anyone would show up and feel welcomed, no matter their religious background.
The Opportunity
We usually have around 75-100 students each week. We can pay $50 for a 25 minute set of original music. You are also welcome to sell merch and get free dinner! You are also welcome to advertise a venmo for tips! The event starts at 7:30, music usually starts around 7:40 and is done by 8:05.
The Band
Our space is a bit of an intimate space, so we usually have smaller, either solo acts or 3 piece at most. But we're always open, as long as it's not too loud or gets uncomfortable.
The Gig
Limited PA is provided. Artists should bring their own instruments. More of this information can be discussed at time of booking. Compensation TBA at time of booking.
