Atlanta Fest Talent Search 2008 presented by Essential Records

Practice hard, polish up, and come ready to have a good time, because Atlanta Fest is expecting this year to be its best talent search ever! The better news is that it's only $50 to enter.



This year, Atlanta Fest is teaming with other major festivals in the nationwide Christian Festival Association to bring the “Atlanta Fest Talent Search presented by Essential Records to Atlanta Fest 2008. Similar competitions will be taking place at festivals around the US. The Atlanta Fest Talent Search is an online talent search competition, complimented at Atlanta Fest 2008 by a live competition among the finalists chosen by the online voting.



The first place winner each day will have the opportunity to perform the winning song on the main stage at Atlanta Fest that evening! There will be one GRAND PRIZE winner for the week who will go on to perform in the national talent search competition in Nashville. The national winner will receive a developmental deal with Essential Records.



Live competitions will take place in the Stone Mountain Park in metro Atlanta during Atlanta Fest at approximately 9:30 AM to 11:30AM June 19-21. Chosen artists must perform a song featured on one of their submitted demos on Sonicbids. For those who wish to compete as a band, Atlanta Fest will supply all the necessary back-line gear. Sharing back-line gear is required and makes the transition between contestants go more smoothly.



If you are chosen as a finalist to appear at the festival, an Atlanta Fest representative will notify you. At that time you will be required to send in a competition fee of $100 for solo artists or $150 for bands.
