Summary
Atlanta Pride is one of the premier Gay & Lesbian festivals in the country! With over 300,000 annual attendees, this event draws visitors from around the world.
It is a great opportunity for artists to showcase their talents, and perform in front of a lively, broad-ranging audience. While there is only minimal compensation for performers, some consideration may be made for transportation or other items. This event has been in existence for 38 years, and will take place in The Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center on July 4-6, 2008. There is room for a variety of artists and performers; so all genres are encouraged to come forward.
The main purpose of Atlanta Pride is to promote unity, visibility and self-esteem among lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender persons, and to promote a positive image in the Atlanta area and throughout the Southeastern United States through community activities and services.
