Summary

Visual and performing artists are invited to apply to participate in Downtown Aurora’s 2nd ArtWalk on Friday March 27, 2009 from 7:00pm-10:00pm. The Aurora ArtWalk is produced by the “Cultural Creatives”, a group of downtown artists, business and property owners with a common interest in encouraging an arts-friendly environment.



Artists will be paired with a fitting venue to exhibit or perform, assisted during set up and the event, and invited to a wrap-up party after the event. Two $300 prizes- one for a performing artist, one for a visual artist- will be awarded as a “people’s choice” award. Visual artists are encouraged to offer work for sale, and performers may be compensated financially. Artists must be able to deliver work and attend/perform at the ArtWalk from 7-10pm.
