FEST: Urban Music Fest (TX)

Hello Sonicbids artists, The Urban Music Fest is gearing up for the 14th annual festival this year in Austin, Texas. We're currently looking for Local, Regional and National acts for this year's celebration. The Urban Music Fest was derived in response to the African American Quality of Life initiative brought in 2005. The Urban Music Fest is Austin’s largest African American tourist weekend of the year where over 60,000 visitors are expected to participate in all types of activities around Austin. The festival has an assortment of vendors including food, retail, and social services. If you're interested in being apart of one of the biggest African American celebrations in America, this is your chance to get involved!

We are entering our 14th Annual Urban Music Fest and this year we're seeking out the best Urban Sonicbids acts. This year we're passionate about giving the opportunity to emerge acts who are looking to perform on a world-class stage in front of thousands of people. We're looking for acts that are polished and have plenty of live stage experience. This is an opportunity of a lifetime to get involved in one of America's biggest urban music festivals and build a huge fanbase this upcoming summer. 

We seeking primarily R&B, Jazz, Blues, and Hip Hop. We're looking for local, regional, and national artists. 

All acts applying must meet the criteria that we look for, lyrics, stage presence, style and artists must have a fanbase

Acts must have a solid online presence

Bands must have a strong social media following 

Bands promote the show on social media

This is also a great opportunity for local, regional up and coming acts to get more visibility. If you're looking to get involved with this tour, meet other artists and gain new fans, this is the gig for you!

Past national acts include Tank, Charlie Wilson, Chaka Khan, Muziq Soulchild, Joe, Toni Tony Tone, and many other national acts.
