Summary

Axum Lounge, the lounge above Ninth Street's Axum restaurant, is a newly renovated lounge which hosts live music Wednesdays through Saturdays. It is looking to book solo artists and bands of a variety of genres (please no metal, punk, rap, hip hop though) to perform live at the venue. Artists will be compensated based on the number of people who come to see the show, and bands can keep 100% of their merchandise sales. Singers and songwriters are also welcome to submit to play at the venue but at the street/restaurant level in the windows.



Selected artists receive:


  • Artists will be compensated based on the number of people who come to see the show.

  • Bands can sell and keep 100% of their merchandise sales.

  • Food will be half price for band members and a drink special is offered.

  • A full sound system and professional sound engineer are provided by the venue.

  • The club has some backline equipment, please check the club website under "Booking" for more details.

  • For nights where more than one band is performing, equipment share is required- bass amp and drum share at a minimum. Equipment share will be coordinated prior to the night of the show. Sharing other backline equipment is always encouraged.


Axum Lounge is a newly renovated lounge which hosts live music Wednesdays through Saturdays. There are 6 flat screen TV's and a large projection TV which makes it great for watching any sport. There is also a small stage to see live bands. DJ's spin a few nights a week as well. The menu is an Ethiopian fusion of some American favorites such as, chicken wings, burgers, quesadillas, pizza, and salad. Complimentary Ethiopian seasoned popcorn is served during happy hour.
