Baltimore Music Conference 2009

The Baltimore Music Conference celebrates diversity in music and features local, regional, national & international performers in all genres of music. This year's event, being held October 7th–10th, will continue to provide exciting entertainment for all ages and musical tastes. Over 50 bands will be scheduled to play, at least 10 of which will come from Sonicbids! Everything from alternative to Americana, reggae to r&b, electronica to experimental, and punk to pop… it’s rock 'n roll baby, as well as hip hop, dance, jazz and more!



All genres will be considered, although the BMC is especially interested in new, innovative, and original music types. A large percentage of slots will be reserved for artists from the Baltimore area, but the festival will feature artists from all over the world. Showcases will be held Wednesday - Saturday nights with an outdoor festival on Saturday. Seminars, panel discussions, keynote speakers, and 'The Marketplace' will be held Friday.



Past events have included performances by Wu Tang Clan, Tittsworth, MALPRACTICE, zo2, Adam F, Terry Mullan, Bossman, Planet of the Drums, Salim & the Music Lovers, Atomic Brother, Marrow, J Viewz, Gary B & the Notions, Pro & Reg, and Wordsmith. VIP- industry inclusive parties & the official closing party help make this the biggest & hottest event in the Mid-Atlantic region!
