They are founded with the mission to promote the independent musicians around the world who normally does not get main stream airplay or proper recognition for their musical efforts. They feature all types of music including punk, rock, reggae, electronic, rap, hip hop, and world beat. They are considered the 21st century web cast version of the British radio classic The John Peel Show which featured all sorts of unsigned bands and broke the rules of main-stream music! Banana Peel Radio is now accepting submissions from Sonicbids artists for general airplay consideration.
