Banshee Music: Song placements for TV/Film, Sports and Other Projects

Banshee Music is a sonic branding agency that works with clients and sports properties to create and place music. Clients include Bristol Motor Speedway, Green Bay Packers, Ohio State University, MTV, and Jeep.

Owners of selected tracks must agree to Banshee Music's legal terms before the song can be accepted. Artists must be unsigned and control their own publishing. A production advance and full writer’s share on backend royalties is included.

CUES


Sports Music: New, original music that may be used during events, broadcast, marketing initiatives, offered on CDs or as digital downloads. Selected song will be added to Banshee's library for potential placement with pro and college sports teams such as the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers and Ohio State Buckeyes, among many others.

Banshee Music is looking for sports-appropriate music that is hard-hitting, upbeat, energetic, and appropriate for use in conjunction with sports-oriented events and projects. Songs should incorporate a “call to action,” and can get a crowd excited. Themes may reference action and sports either loosely or directly. Songs that incorporate clapping, stomping, chanting, and cheering are especially of interest.

Contemporary Holiday Music: Any style or genre, provided that the songs that incorporate Christmas traditions, both secular and religious themes are acceptable. Please submit tracks that have a developed, full-length, verse and chorus format. Songs must be 100% original content – no new recordings of preexisting holiday songs will be considered for this project.

Children's Music: Fun, upbeat, energetic, and appropriate for children ages 3-8. Themes are open provided that songs that incorporate good family values, and/or everyday children's interests, activities and learning. Please submit tracks that have a developed, full-length, verse and chorus format. Songs must have a strong, catchy chorus.

Humorous Short Songs: Cues 15-20 seconds in length for occasions such as Birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, Halloween, and Valentine’s Day. Cues will be used in ringtones and audio greeting cards, among other uses. Cues must be humorous and should incorporate jokes about the occasions – getting older, spending time with family around the holidays, didn’t buy you a gift, etc.
