Bark for a Park, a non-profit organization, is holding its 2nd annual festival in Homewood's Patriot Park for our 2nd annual festival to raise funds and awareness for the creation of Birmingham's very first fenced, off-leash dog park. There will be music, food, dog adoption, and more./n/nBark for a Park is a non-profit organization whose mission is to open dog parks in the greater Birmingham, Alabama area and to promote public health and safety through education. On Saturday, October 3rd, dogs and humans will gather in Homewood's Patriot Park for our 2nd annual festival to raise funds and awareness for the creation of Birmingham's very first fenced, off-leash dog park. Birmingham's premier dog park will allow dogs to exercise, play, and socialize in a clean, safe environment.



The Bark for a Park Festival is looking for bands to play the event, which will also feature food, vendors, dog adoption, a pet blessing, raffle prizes, and a demonstration dog park. The animal rescue organizations Cross My Heart and Two by Two will be on hand for the event.
