Summary

In its third year, Barrels, Barbecue and Bands, is an event at Cave Ridge Vineyard on May 19th, 2012 which features a showcase of 3 to 4 bluegrass bands.

Attendees of the event will vote for their favorite act and the winning artist will receive a slot on the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival stage on September 1st, 2012. Each band will play about 20 to 25 minutes before the voting starts. There are no age requirements. Previous winners include Dry Mill Road and Chatham Street.

Selected acts must also be available to perform at the Shenandoah Valley Music Festival stage on September 1, 2012.
