The Artist Room


The Artist Room is looking for Texas country style bands (ie: upbeat, Americana, bluegrass etc.) to perform at the venue, 7 nights per week. Artists will be compensated $250-$500. The Artist Room is one of Texas' oldest bars.



Bash Riprocks


Bash Riprocks is looking for artists who have already played at The Artist Room, and are part of an established national or touring act. It is accepting artists of any genre to perform at the venue. Artists will be compensated with a split of the door and can sell their merchandise and keep 100% of the profits.



A sound system and a sound engineer will be provided at both venues, but artists are responsible for bringing their own instruments and any additional equipment. Artists who are playing at either venue must be able to draw at least 50 people.



About the venue:


Bash Riprock's was established in 1986 and is Lubbock's oldest college bar. Bash's is known for its relaxed atmosphere and great drink specials, including its legendary 2ยข pint night on Mondays. It's known for its amazing street parties and mid-finals bash. It is also know for its great music, having introduced such greats as Pat Green, Corey Morrow, Aaron Watson, Brandon Rhyder, Brandon Adams, Kevin Fowler, Cory Smith, and Lucero to Lubbock from its stage.
