Bayou N' Boogie Festival 2011

The the 4th annual Bayou n’ Boogie Fest brings hot Cajun, Zydeco, blues and roots music to Southeastern Massachusetts May 29-30 2011. The festival includes dance and music workshops, late night jams. There will be a covered dance pavilion plus indoor and outdoor stages for continuous music. The festival takes place rain or shine with a covered dance pavilion and large wood dance floor!! All selected artists will be compensated with a negotiable performance fee. The festival will also sell artist merchandise and pass along 85% of the proceeds to the artist.

Bayou N' Boogie Festival is looking for solo artists and bands to play at the 2011 festival. They are mainly seeking cajun and zydeco genres but are also considering blues, rockabilly, swing, and any other music that can make people dance. There is a total of 15 performance slots available.

Past and present bands include: CJ Chenier & the Red Hot Louisiana Band, Francis Farm, Jeffery Broussard & the Creole Cowboys, Little Freddie King, Andre Thierry & Zydeco Magic, Corey Ledet & His Zydeco Band, Al Berard’s Cajun Hobos, Skiffle Minstrels, New England’s own Magnolia Cajun Band and many more.
