Summary
Anybody want to win $2500 and a trip down to Memphis, TN for the famous Beale St Music Festival???
BB Kings Hollywood is proud to present its 2006 Battle of the Bands: Battle for $2500. This yearly opportunity puts bands in a head-to-head competition in front of A&R representatives from Atlantic Records, Geffen Records, and Hollywood Records, for a chance to win an opening slot for a major label artist at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Universal City and $2500. It�s a chance for the best in SoCal to show their stuff, and as with all BB Kings shows, its never pay-to-play. There are no back end fees if selected.
The Battle is comprised of 6 preliminary rounds. On each of those 6 nights, 2 bands are selected based on stage presence, musicianship, originality, and songwriting, to move on the semi-finals. The top bands will then battle it out for great 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes, which include studio time, show opportunities, free promotion, and of course the grand prize, $2500.
The competition is open to all ROCK bands, all ages, all over southern California.
