Summary

The Brooklyn Country Music Festival is New York City's biggest country music party. Currently in its third year, the festival came to life in 2004 as the brainchild of Dock Oscar (Kings County Opry) and Alex Battles (CasHank Hootenanny Jamboree.) This year the festival moves from its previous small-room digs to Southpaw - Brooklyn's 350 capacity premier big room. This yearÂ’s event will be held on September 9, 2006.

As in the past, the BCMF will focus primarily on original music acts based in the traditional country, Americana and bluegrass genres. We are looking for bands that have a contagious good time. The festival will feature 15 artists!

Past BCMF performers include Jen Larson, Michael Daves, The Roulette Sisters, The Whisky Rebellion, Norris, Two Man Gentlemen Band, Tom Bailey, The Wiyos and many others.

Artist compensation is based on draw. Artists keep 100% of the money for merch sales.
