Summary

BeatRoute Magazine is a monthly arts and entertainment paper with a predominant focus on music - local, independent or otherwise. We have a circulation of 10,000 and are distributed in Alberta (Calgary, Edmonton, Banff, Canmore and Lethbridge), as well as online (www.beatroute.ca). The paper started in June 2004 and continues to provide a healthy dose of perversity while exercising rock 'n' roll ethics. Our demographic is primarily good looking 16-35 year old hipsters.

We are looking for Acoustic, Alternative, Country, Electronic/Dance/DJ, Folk, Funk, Hip Hop/Rap, Metal, Pop, Punk, Reggae, Rock, Singer/Songwriter, Urban, and R&B artists to review for our monthly publication. Typically we only put local bands on the cover and we like to limit what we cover in the paper to bands/artists coming through the cities we distribute in. As long as you or your band are going to be touring in Calgary, Edmonton, Banff, Canmore or Lethbridge, we will consider writing about it in BeatRoute. Also, if you want us to review your CD, you need to have distribution in Alberta.
