Bergen Music Fest 2011

Bergenfest is a modern music festival, drawing 20,000 - 40,000 people, and voted best festival in Norway by the Norwegian Rock Festival Council. The event takes place in 14 clubs, ranging from small clubs, through theatres, and to, concert halls. Compensation ranges from $1,000 - $10,000 for emerging artists. Bergenfest will select at least 4 Sonicbids artists to perform.

Bergenfest will again be using Sonicbids again to discover and select at least 4 Sonicbids artists to perform. All genres are welcome to submit - indie, hip-hop, country, blues, alternative, rock, metal - as long as the artist represents quality and creativity.

The event takes place in 14 clubs, ranging from small clubs, through theatres, and to, concert halls. Venue capacity varies from 100 to 4,000. The majority of venues are situated in the heart of Bergen.

The 2011 festival, taking place April 27 – May 1, will feature acts from across both Europe and the rest of the world.
