Official Berklee SXSW 2013 Day Party

Berklee is hosting its 8th Annual Day Party at SXSW, Friday, March 15, 2013, 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., at Brush Square Park in Austin, TX and is looking for exciting up-and-coming alumni acts to feature on the show. This listing is for the official Berklee-sponsored party in Austin and is only open to acts that include alumni of Berklee College of Music.

Selected artists will receive a performance slot on Berklee's Party. This does NOT include payment or a SXSW artist badge. Submissions are open to acts from all over, but acts who are from Austin or are already planning to be in Austin for SXSW are preferred as travel is not provided.

Preference also given to bands who have NOT previously performed at a Berklee Official SXSW Party or CMJ Showcase. There will be a total of 5-8 bands and/or solo acts from a variety of genres featured, performing short, 20 minute sets.

Submissions will be reviewed by Berklee College of Music and acts submitting to this listing will not be considered for other parties during SXSW. This opportunity is for Berklee students and alumni only.
