Summary
Be Seen and Be Heard is an interactive conference, which is based on helping independent artist find their niche in the music industry while perfecting their craft. Be Seen Be Heard is an opportunity for artists to present music to major labels A&Rs, and receive constructive critiques about music.
Submit your songs through Sonicbids for the opportunity to have them critiqued during the panel discussions. The panel discussions will include:
Noah Preston: A&R Representative, The Island Def Jam Music Group
Shawn Barron: Senior Director of A&R, Atlantic Records
Eesean Bolden: A&R Representative, Capitol Records
Chris Country Lee: Senior Director of Popular Music, Chart Vision, Inc
Jason Schweitzer: Grammy Award Winning Mix Engineer
Paul Finamore: Lifestyle and Entertainment Marketing
Sanni Youboty: Digital Content/Social Media for RedOne/2101 Records
Stix: Executive Producer, A&R Representative and Songwriter
David A. Mitchell: from Amalgamation Magazine will be the moderator.
If you are in Los Angeles your admittance to the Panel will be free, if you are not in the Los Angeles Be Seen Be Heard will send you a video of the panel discussions and the critique forms for all the A&R's.
Panel Discussion #1: will focus on the Independent Artist. Topics will include: how to build your niche as an independent in a crowded music industry, how to select the right marketplace for your music, how to make yourself marketable and how to make your music profitable.
Panel Discussion #2: will focus on the ins and outs of the music industry. What does and does not make a hit, and what major labels are currently interested in. 5 previously submitted recordings for the panelists to critique in front of the crowd and encourage the crowds opinion, as well.
