CONTEST: SongwriterUniverse - Best Song of the Month (Jan-Mar)

SongwriterUniverse is accepting submissions for their "Best Song of the Month" for the months of January, February and March 2020.* One winner will be chosen each month, along with four finalists who will receive a feature in SongwriterUniverse and prize packages valued at $390 and $200 respectively. 

*Submissions will be considered for "Best Song of the Month" in the month they were received.  Submission deadlines are at the end of every month. 

SongwriterUniverse is headed by music industry veteran Dale Kawashima, previously President of Michael Jackson's ATV Music and Irving Azoff's Giant Music. He was also creative exec at Sony/ATV Music, Motown Records, Mercury Records and has worked directly with Michael Jackson, Prince & other top artists & songwriters. 

The “Best Song of the Month” Contest honors and publicizes the Top Five Songs submitted each month to the popular SingerUniverse site, which now attracts 81,000 visitors monthly. Each month, the new “Best Song Of The Month” Contest Winner will be featured in a positive, lead article on the SongwriterUniverse site. The Winner will be interviewed by Dale Kawashima and he will write the Winner’s article, which provides excellent exposure to leaders in the music industry.

• All genres of music
• Songs do not need to be elaborately produced but must be presented in a professional manner
• Songs will be judged based on artistic merit, originality, songwriting craft, and market potential.
• We're looking for original lyrics and composition

• The Winner’s Page each month shall feature the Contest Winner and four finalists, with their photos, writer’s credit, streaming audio of their selected song, and their contact info.
