Summary

Apache Rose Publishing, Inc. is taking submissions for Volume 3 of their Best New Bands series. The album will be distributed to over 1000 college/PR radio stations, fraternities and sororities throughout all of the United States. At least 10 slots will be reserved for Sonicbids members. Volume Two is currently being sent across the nation. All genres are accepted. To see who was selected for the second compilation, check out the It Works! listing.

Right now Volume Two of the Best New Bands Series is going out to college radio stations across the nation. The artists involved with the Best New Bands Series all receive 30 copies of the CD to sell to recover their initial investment. Whether you are looking for possible airplay, new booking options, releasing an album or promoting within the US, exposure to colleges and indie stations provides the perfect opportunity to showcase your music.

Selected writers affiliated with BMI or ASCAP will need to submit information to report the publication to them so they can monitor any airplay royalties. If there are sales of the CD by the label the writer(s)/publishers will receive royalties based on their individual contracts; however, this CD series is primarily for exposure for the bands'/writers' recordings and will be distributed to interested parties such as college and indie friendly stations free of charge. If you do not have a publishing contract on the song yet, we may offer you one at this time.

Volume Three will not be sent out to radio until Spring Semester starts in January. Be a part of this grass roots campaign to get our music out to the world. If you don't think you can sell your copies, Apache Rose would rather you not participate. It is their goal for these projects to pay for themselves so that artists can participate over and over and create a strong network. The order of the tracks are on a first come, first serve basis so don't wait.

Please note: There is a $300 participation fee that goes directly to the promoter to help defer the cost of production and mailing. Selected artists may use their 30 copies of the CD to recover this fee.
